Vanessa works with individual adults (19+) to facilitate lasting positive change. She is passionate about providing care that addresses the whole person, working on multiple levels to promote mind-body integration. She creates personalized treatment plans with her clients that may include talk therapy, somatic therapy, and/or craniosacral therapy.

Vanessa has a background in philosophy and helps clients explore their concerns on a deeper, existential level. In addition, her approach maintains a strong focus on nervous system regulation. Whether through mindfulness-based practices, Somatic Experiencing®, or craniosacral touch, her goal is to work with the body’s innate capacity to release trauma and restore a basic sense of contentment and vitality. In addition to charting a course through challenging life events, the intention is of coming home to ourselves by connecting with our authentic reality on an emotional, embodied level.

Some of the issues that Vanessa commonly works with are: emotional regulation; anxiety and depression; grief and loss (personal and collective); relationships and emotional intimacy; self-worth, self-confidence and self-compassion; and personal growth and alignment with life purpose.

Stephanie Moss BA, BNSc, RN, RHN

Registered Holistic Nutritionist

I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Registered Nurse who uses a science-based/holistic approach to health.

LifeFlow Holistic Nutrition is the result of my experience and knowledge from working in health care combined with my passion for food, nutrition and genuinely caring for others.  Working in a variety of hospital and clinical settings clarified and strengthened my belief in the importance of using a holistic approach to health.  It revealed to me how valuable the application of good nutrition and holistic health principles are in supporting and assisting us with recovery from illness, disease, and injury.  Holistic Nutrition is powerful medicine!

When working with clients and customizing individual Holistic Nutrition plans, I consider the specific nutritional needs and requirements of my clients based on age/phase of life, current health status (living with chronic disease or illness), and current lifestyle habits/circumstances.

Holistic Nutrition can support our health during times of great change (e.g. pregnancy and puberty), through illness and imbalance and when we place high demands on our body (e.g. living a fast-paced life with unmanaged stress).  I believe our body has the natural ability to heal, repair and maintain optimal function, if we provide it with what it needs; nutrient-rich whole foods and healthy lifestyle choices.

Education/Certificate background

Bachelor or Arts (Guelph University)

Bachelor of Nursing Science (Queen’s University)

Registered Nurse for 12 years (surgical, medical, cardiovascular, and emergency room)
